In 2011, NAGA became the exclusive USA East Coast representative member of the World Wide Shipagencies Association (WWSA). The WWSA was established in September 2007, when several ship agents took the initiative to create WWSA, a registered Antwerp-based nonprofit association. The association operates as a co-operative of industry professionals. The WWSA is driven by an agenda that enables a highly transparent exchange of relevant maritime information amongst members based in to different countries and across myriad trade sectors around the Globe. To date the organization counts 35 members, representing 35 countries on its member’s roster.
